Nice & cosy place. The rooms were very clean & good breakfast. Parking facility on site. Easy access to all Lake District attractions.

Despite the exterior, the interior was excellent, large room with lovely shower, very clean and well equipped. Staff/owners friendly and very welcoming, breakfast varied and well cooked. Would definitely stay again. Public area also excellent.
Good Hotel , clean and quiet. Owners are very helpful and staff is well trained and friendly. Rooms have TV, Iron etc. like all a hotel like facilities. Bed linen changed regularly. Owners would provide additional assistance as required. Food has vegetarian options as well. Barr is compact but great for spending time with friends. Snooker and Darts competitions are held usually.
