Old fashioned type of town oub
Just got back from a few days away at the ambrose hotel and have to say it was far better than we were expecting,from checking in to checking out the whole break was lovely,the staff and the customers in the pub were everything you could wish for,it is also a good Base for exploring the Lake District.and we would recommend it to anyone.
First time In the pub after living here for 4 years. Great pub friendly good beer.
Dated decor, average rooms, not entirely clean and very noisy. Room was either freezing or roasting, shower ran cold if someone else in the building used water and the Wi-Fi didn't work. On a plus side lovely clean fresh new towels!!!! Wouldn't recommend or stay there again.
