A good hotel in Barrow, comfortable and friendly. Good food in restaurant. No lift however.

This place is old and requires refurbishment however the enthusiasm and helpfulness of staff together with the low price and the excellent position in the town centre make it an attractive place to stay if visiting Barrow. There is building work going on behind the hotel which can cause some dust if windows are left open (Aug 18). I will continue to use it and enjoy the table service of the cooked breakfast.

Nice cozy room with all the necessary facilities. Very clean throughout. Friendly staff and a very good Italian restaurant available downstairs. Decent breakfast too.
