Nice room basic but adequate. Breakfast was a farce as we were not informed breakfast finished at 8.30am. Cereals were still on show but we were still refused. No offer of a cup of tea or coffee before our long journey home. Hospitality should have been better.
Great little hotel and lovely attentive staff.
I stayed at Chetwynde to attend a wedding and I really enjoyed my stay. Chetwynde is a large old house from the days when Barrow was booming in the 1880s and still retains an atmosphere of that era although the facilities are throughly modern. Ample parking, and reasonably priced it's on the outskirts of Barrow in a nice area.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Would definitely recommend. Room clean and comfy. Stayed in the annex at back of hotel.
