Magical little pub on a magical little island..pub shuts for winter but what a place to go in the summer..camp or stay in the ship inn..ideal adventure for kids and grown ups alike..
Although The Ship doesn't look very glamorous the landlords were very friendly & the food was top notch. Delicious fish & chips & mussels & the best veggie breakfast I've ever had.
Fish and chips were amazing. Friendly staff, amazing location. I wouldn't like to take a shower though if I was camping on Piel, shower in toilet block looked so dirty, green mould and filth everywhere.
I loved it here, a few choices of larger and bitter and various ciders. The food was fantastic and well worth the money and situated in a stunning part of Cumbria
