I had a neck/ headstock joint issue with a PRS bought I bought from R & T. The guys at the shop were brilliant and they sorted it all out for me, including all shipping costs. Excellent customer service.

Firstly I would have to say, don't expect boutique instruments. But there is a hell of a choice of wot I'd call starter guitars, bass's, amps etc. Having said that you will also find an avid collection of mid range instruments and a number of what I guess would be classed as top range. I'm personally a bass player and have been so fRd 40 long and lol, interesting yrs. So obviously I tend to have a bias toward said kit. I have used R+T for many moons, prolly 41-42yrs, at that time the excellent owner of the day was a cracking gent (once again I become bias) his name is synonymous with anyone whom had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with him way back then. The name Terry Turner, splendid chap and is still as charming, polite and more than willing to hold a conversation with you, especially if he remembers you from decades ago. At that time 40 odd yrs ago there was 2 "musac" shops. R+T, on abbey road by the old picture house, all long gone now . Anyone with the faculties to member back then will also member the BonBon, a step back in time too to the old and imo highly respected yrs of the late 50's and my growing up years, the 60's. 1964, wot a wonderful yr, dunno for what errrrr I can't remember, ageing process bloody sux BIG-TIME. Right back on track. R+T on Abbey Rd, opposite the Duke of ed (dug its way through the ravages of time). The other moogers outlet was at the lower end of town on Duke Street. The building was somewhat mysterious, Windows blackened out to such a degree that if one attempted to peermagnifi10e blackness one would see exactly that nothing. Not the kinda thing one would expect to see from an instrument outlet. Maybe there to prevent it from being bust into and robbed. Yes (finally) I'm talking of NORTHERN SOUNDS, the main rival (ROFL) of R+T. I went in there once, tbh out of curiosity more than anything else. R+T certainly had no competition there, without a doubt. Right back to R+T, I'd deffo advise purchasing from them. You see owt cheaper than the piece of kit in there spot, show em the proof, or Internet addy where the kit is to be found and they will match it. If you're after an amp, cab, guitar or whatever the hell, pay 30% up front then pay remaining coin on a weekly/monthly basis and the jobs a good un. Everybody's happy. A lot of my equipment, serious gear was gotten from them guys. My Ashdown Engineering top and cab ain't ever let me down. Won't bore you with specifics, but its top spec tack, I've gotta mention the head - Can't help mysen. Klystron 500 Bass magnifier, I am just using the one 4*10 mod 410T II @ 600WRMS

A great shop with a nice atmosphere.Good selection of gear.Staff always happy to help.

Pleasant staff. Always helpful. I've bought at least four guitars from those guys. They never seem to run out of dad-jokes, so it's always an entertaining experience...

Despite never physically stepping foot into the shop, the experience I have received is faultless.Excellent communication and really helpful. They gave me the best price possible for my new guitar, which arrived in pristine condition the following working day.
